This Privacy Policy describes how Wordle Code (the “App”) handles information when you use our mobile application. By using the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

• Gameplay and preferences — for example progress, settings, game history stored on your device so the App can function and resume where you left off.

• Identifiers used for advertising — where the App shows ads, advertising partners (for example Google AdMob) may collect or use advertising identifiers in line with their own policies and platform settings.
• Remote configuration — the App may fetch configuration from our servers or third-party content delivery (for example to enable features or maintenance messages). Those requests may generate standard server logs (such as IP address and timestamp) on the infrastructure that hosts that content.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the App and game experience;
• Maintain security, prevent fraud or abuse, and fix bugs;
• Show ads where applicable and measure their effectiveness;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Storage and retention

Much of your gameplay data may be stored on your device. We retain information on our systems only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. You can often clear local app data through your device settings; doing so may reset progress or preferences.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service providers who assist us (for example hosting, analytics, or advertising), subject to contractual safeguards where appropriate;
• Advertising partners when ads are shown — please review their privacy policies and use platform ad settings (Limit Ad Tracking / personalized ads) where available;

6. Children

The App is not directed at children under the age required by your region to consent to data processing without parental permission. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We take reasonable measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you use the App from outside your home country, your information may be processed in countries where we or our providers operate, which may have different data protection laws.
